Missing: DataSource Control for Web Services

My first experience with Whidbey is great. It is relatively stable and a great step forward.

The use of databinding through controls really speeds up prototyping and development.
There is a list of datasource controls available, including SQL, Access, DataSet, Business Object.

What is missing is a Web Services datacontrol. I want to build a web site, of which a part will be hosted on the Intranet of target customers. This part will communicate through web services to backend server on the Internet. It would be great if you can directly consume the web services through a datasource control. What I have heard, there will be a Web Services data source control during the Beta timeframe or in the final release.
