Ive been trying to create an intranet search using the index server in XP. This was working fine, but after playing with a few directories I erased the catalog and recreated it. Now though, when I query then index the vpath attribute is always blank, meaning I cannot provide a link to the file returned in the search.
Has anyone encountered this before and has anyone an idea as to why this is blank? All other attribute are returned, just not the vpath.
Any ideas?
Indexing service, select the catalog, right cliock and choose properties. Tracking tab, make sure the correct WWW Server is listed in the the dropdown. Generation tab, make sure generate abstracts is checked.
